The light shone bright on Brescia College at University of Western Ontario Thursday night (Nov. 25), as student members of the Brescia Psychology Association (BPA) went purple in support of the London Abused Women’s Centre (LAWC) Shine the Light on Women Abuse campaign. In addition to purple lights being lit in front of Ursuline Hall, members of BPA have also been selling athletic wear at the college, with a portion of the proceeds being directed to the campaign aimed at raising awareness on the issue of women abuse and its impact on society.
