Giving kids a place to play and parents somewhere learn about programs and opportunities available to them, has lead The Minto Group and Childreach London to join forces at the Cherryhill Mall for the month of February.
Three days each week — Monday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Thursday 3-7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. — the Preschool Outreach Program Utilizing Play (POP UP) Centre opens its doors at the mall to preschoolers and their parents.
Run by Outreach London in co-operation with the support of its community partners, the POP UP Centre provides play equipment and mini programs promoting healthy, active living to preschool kids. The underlying goal of the program however, is to be able to reach out to the parents and caregivers, informing them about the variety of programs and services available to them in the community.
