Update: The Middlesex OPP Crime Unit has determined through their investigation that the incident reported on February 7, 2012 was not suspicious. The male in the Dodge Magnum was on Victoria Street for a legitimate business purpose involving a second male in the area. No one took any photographs and no criminal activity took place. Police are, however, continuing their investigation into the two Feb. 2 incidents.

Middlesex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating three separate incidents of suspicious activity around area schools.
On Feb. 2, at approximately 11 a.m., a Caucasian male in his 20s with short dark hair, was observed on Ilderton Road taking photographs near Valleyview Public School in Middlesex Centre. He was observed getting out of a silver four door car, and leaving in a white van.
That same day, at approximately 1:50 p.m., an older Caucasian male with gray hair was observed on Parkhouse Drive taking photographs near Ecoe Central Public School in Southwest Middlesex. He left the area in a newer four door silver Dodge pickup truck.
On Feb. 7, at approximately 8:50 a.m., a Caucasian male in his 40s with gray hair was observed on Victoria Street near Parkhouse Drive in Southwest Middlesex, driving a silver Dodge Magnum car that displayed a dealer plate. He exited the vehicle and appeared to take photographs of two youths walking in the vicinity.
Middlesex OPP continues to investigate these incidents to determine if any criminal activity is taking place. OPP are asking the public’s assistance to immediately report any suspicious activity and all details about the people and vehicles (including licence plates) near area schools.
