Patients at Children’s Hospital London Health Sciences Centre will have some new ways to keep occupied thanks to the generosity of Starlight Children’s Foundation (CHF) and Toys “R”Us Canada.
On Thursday (Sept. 20), representatives from both organizations were in London to present a grant cheque in the amount of $2,000 to the Children’s Health Foundation to be used towards the purchase of distractive entertainment items for paediatric patients at the hospital.
On hand for the presentation made at the Toys “R” Us store in the Westwood Centre and trying out some examples of those items were CHF Philanthropy Associate Jennepher Cahill, Michelle Wilband, coordinator PMDU and Specialty Service Children’s Hospital, Trudy Rudolph, hospital program coordinator with Starlight Children’s Foundation and Toys “R” Us Director Alicia Ryckman.
