Purrr-fect Show

London Community News

By Jonathon Brodie/London Community News / Twitter: @jonathonbrodie The sounds of meows and purrs poured out of the Western Fair District’s Special Events Building on Sunday (Oct. 14) during the PAWSitive PAWS Cat Club’s Cat Show. More than 150 felines were put on display for the all-day event with cats ranging from British Shorthairs to Japanese Bobtails. Of the animals, 119 of them were entered in the cat show where the felines were judged by breed, as well as put into categories of kitten, adult, spay/neutered and household pet classes. When the cats took a timeout from competing, visitors were able to walk around and get an up-close look at the felines. A variety of cat product vendors were also on hand for the event. Proceeds from the event are donated to the London Humane Society, Animal Alert and St. Thomas Animal Aide. [gallery link="file"] Find us on Facebook: London Community News
