Furanna Park will be sporting some new foliage in the future thanks to the work of ReForest London and an assortment of local community groups. More than 60 people were on hand for the event, venturing out under sunny skies and helping to plant a wide selection of native trees and shrubs in the northwest London park on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 21). One of the groups that was out in force at the event, were members of Temple Israel London who joined in on the planting as part of their Mitzvah Day activities. This was the final planting of the year for ReForest London. This fall alone, ReForest London has put in upwards of 2,000 trees and shrubs, bringing the total planted to more than 4,500 at locations across the Forest City in 2012.
