The front of Clarke Road Secondary School was awash in colour on Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 15) as an estimated 600 staff and students of the school gathered on the lawn for one last group picture on the occasion of the fifth annual Sea of Pink Day.
The shot was the culmination of Bullying Awareness Week activities at the school. Since Monday (Nov. 12), students had been engaged in various events designed to deliver a message to stand up against bullying and becoming upstanders both at school and in the community.
Some of the other activities included a pink bake sale, pink social in the Development Centre and assemblies in the gym where students were encouraged to sign the Pledge to End Bullying banner.
