With only three weeks remaining in the 2012 United Way London & Middlesex fundraising campaign, staff and students of the London and District Catholic School Board (LDCSB) brightened the smile on United Way representatives at a presentation at the LDCSB offices on Wednesday (Feb. 6).
Working together through employee contributions, donations and fundraising activities, staff and students combined to raise $141,581 for the United Way, exceeding their original target goal by more than $21,000.
Helping LDCSB Director Wilma de Rond (back row right) make the presentation to United Way representatives (back row left to right) Kathy Kaill (United Way Elgin St. Thomas), John Macintosh (United Way Oxford) and Andrew Lockie (United Way London and Middlesex) are St. Jude Catholic Elementary School students Natalie, Gabriel, Beth, Sarah and Adam.
