Seven more riot suspects charged

Police have charged seven more people in connection with March’s Fleming Drive riot, bringing the total number of charged to 49. London residents David Roche, 22, Benito Schiavone, 19, Gary Siegfried, 18, Jason Sims, 18, and Forrest Enns, 19, are all charged with being a member of an unlawful assembly and mischief under $5,000. Jason Guillemette, 21, of London is charged with being a member of an unlawful assembly, mischief over $5,000, mischief under $5,000 and an act likely to cause mischief. Steven Rutherford, 18, of Cobourg is charged with being a member of an unlawful assembly and an act likely to cause mischief. The charges against Roche, Schiavone, Siegfried and Guillemette are related to causing damage to a CTV news vehicle that was destroyed during the riot. To date, police have laid 119 criminal charges in relation to the riot.
