Number of riot suspects nearing 70

Police have charged five more people, all from out of town, for participating in the Fleming Drive riot three months ago.
Scott Butchart, 20, of Barrie is charged with nine counts of participating in an act likely to cause mischief, one count of participating in a riot and one count of arson endangering life.
Duncan Cameron, 20, of Fort Erie is charged with being a member of an unlawful assembly, participating in an act likely to cause mischief, two counts of mischief under $5,000 and one count of mischief over $5,000.
The charges against Cameron and Butchart relate to damage caused to a CTV News vehicle that was destroyed during the March 17 riot.
Barrie residents Anthony Feaver and Manual Distefano, both 20, and Utopia resident John Noordhoff, 22, are each charged with being a member of an unlawful assembly and participating in an act likely to cause mischief.
Police have now charged 68 riot suspects with 175 criminal charges.
Of those suspects, 26 are Fanshawe College students.
