Missing teen, baby found
Amber Nicholson (Bourne).
London Community News
Update (7:13 a.m.): Police located Amber Nicholson and her baby, Ciarrah O'Shea, last night (July 5) safe and sound.
------------------------------
Police are asking for help in finding a teenager and an infant missing since Sunday (July 1).
Amber Nicholson, 17, whose proper name is Amber Bourne but is generally known with the surname Nicholson, was seen walking her four-month-old daughter Ciarrah O’Shea in a black three-in-one stroller with a green and blue baby seat in the area of Wharncliffe and Baseline roads at about 10 p.m.
She has not been heard from since.
Const. Will Knelsen, a London Police Service spokesman, said it was an associate of Amber who last saw her Sunday evening and that person reported there was nothing to suggest anything was out of order at that time.
She may have been coming from or going to Canada Day festivities at the time she was last seen, he added.
There is nothing to suggest Amber and her daughter, who live in the London area, are the victims of foul play or criminal activity, Knelsen said, but Amber’s family has indicated that this disappearance is unusual.
Amber is described as white, standing five-foot-seven and weighing 130 pounds.
She has long brown hair with blonde highlights, blue eyes and is possibly wearing jean shorts and a white T-shirt or tank top.
Police and family are concerned for the welfare of Amber and Ciarrah and anyone with information about them is asked to contact the London Police Service at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
