City playground schedule juggled due to heat alert

Due to the heat alert issued by the Middlesex-London Health Unit for Tuesday (July 17), the city's playground activity will be altered for the day. The following free playground drop-in program sites will be closed that day because they are not air-conditioned: - Byron Northview PS - Murray Park - Jean Vanier CS - Wortley Road PS - Arthur Ford PS - Rick Hansen PS - Victoria PS The following free playground drop-in program sites will be open on July 17 because they are air-conditioned: - Clara Brenton PS - St. Marguerite d’Youville CS - University Heights PS - Kinsmen Arena - Wilfrid Jury PS - Cleardale PS - Westminster SS - Ashley Oaks PS - Lambeth PS - Ed Blake Park - Northbrae PS - Hillcrest PS - Jack Chambers PS - Stoneycreek PS - Stoneybrook PS - Ryerson PS - Northbrae PS - Hillcrest PS - JP Robarts PS - St. Roberts CS - Boyle Community Centre - Bonaventure Meadows PS - Pius X CS - East Lions Artisans Centre - Ealing PS - Fairmont PS - Vauxhall Park - Rowntree Park - South East Optimist Centre - Wilton Grove PS - Arbour Glen All outdoor tennis lessons are cancelled. All City of London day camps will be running, with modified programs. During all heat alerts, community centres, splash pads and public library locations are available for anyone who needs to beat the heat.
