Most wanted arrested
London Community News
One of London’s most-wanted was arrested Monday (Aug. 7).
Police took Kokoete Udoh of London into custody without incident at about 5:30 p.m. after receiving a tip from the public about his whereabouts.
Udoh, who was born in 1981, was arrested in relation to a violent crime earlier this year and was released on probation on April 10.
Police would not comment on the nature of the crime Udoh was allegedly involved with in order to protect the identity of the victim, but a profile of the suspect on the London Police Service homepage states he was wanted for criminal harassment, uttering threats and failing to comply with conditions of his probation.
Following his arrest in London on Monday, Udoh is now facing two counts of breaching his probation conditions stemming from two separate incidents, police said.
Police are also reminding the public not to approach or interact with any of the people listed as wanted or “high risk” suspects on the police service’s website.
Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of any of these suspects is asked contact the London Police Service at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
