Tasting time at the Forest City Beer fest

London Community News

Photos by Mike Maloney/London Community News/Twitter: mdmaloneyphoto The suds were flowing at the corner of Wellington and York streets on Saturday evening (Aug. 11) as local brewing aficionados took the opportunity to sample some of the best craft brews at the Forest City Beer Fest. Organized by Aaron Brown, in association with APK Live, the venue for the festival, the event gave London residents a chance to sample a number of beers offered up by the 12 different breweries on hand for the event. Whether it was the gold medal winning Crazy Canuck pale ale offered up by Great Lakes Brewery, imported Delirium Tremens from Belgium or Platform 12, brewed by Railway City Brewing Company in St. Thomas from beets and honey, there was a little something on offer for every palette to taste.
