Indecent act charge laid

Police have charged Gregory Simard with one count of committing an indecent act that is unrelated to the investigation of the attempt murder at CPRI on Sunday night (Sept. 9). According to a news release from police, on Saturday, September 8, at approximately 10:30 a.m., a man entered a store in the northeast end of the city. This same male had attended this store on four previous occasions. The man removed all his clothing, then gathered the clothes up and walked outside still naked. Police were called and a description was provided. A thorough search of the area was conducted but the man was not located. As a result of further information and investigation, 24-year-old Gregory Simard is charged with one count of an indecent act.
