Called “bold and progressive,” by London Police Chief Brad Duncan, a new graphics package for the city's police vehicles was officially unveiled on Thursday morning (Sept. 13).
With the introduction of new Dodge Charger to the LPS fleet, officials felt this was the perfect opportunity to introduce an updated image for the force on the streets. The new design also incorporates the LPS’s official colours and website address.
Currently, the LPS operates 122 marked vehicles. Duncan said that the vehicles currently in service will not be updated with the new look and it will take approximately two years before the transition from the old vehicles to one’s bearing the new design is complete.
