Woman killed by her own vehicle

A Toronto woman is dead following a bizarre incident at Forks of the Credit Provincial Park in Caledon on Wednesday (Sept. 19). Following a preliminary investigation, Caledon OPP believe she was getting into her vehicle when, for reasons unknown, it started to move and struck her at about 6 p.m. She was taken to Headwaters Health Care Centre, where she succumbed to her injuries. The victim’s name hasn’t been released. OPP technical traffic collision investigators have been called in and the investigation is ongoing.
