Armed robbery suspect sought

The police are looking for 27-year-old London resident Eric Arndt after a unidentified 29-year-old was robbed after being struck in the arm with a hammer and in the face with the handle of a firearm on Thursday (Oct. 4).
At approximately 7:20 p.m., police responded to a robbery in the area of Wellington and Grey streets, where one of the two accused — Timothy Northup, 19, of London — was arrested and charged with armed robbery. The second male fled the scene, but the police have applied for an arrest warrant for Arndt, also for armed robbery.
The victim sustained minor injuries as a result. The firearm has not been recovered.
None of the charges have been proven in a court of law.
