Pillar is rolling out the kindness; can you spare a square?

London Community News

Pillar Nonprofit Network is participating in London Urban Services Organization's (LUSO) 1,000 Acts of Kindness with the goal of collecting 1,000 rolls of toilet paper. All donations collected through the campaign, which will be rolling through the end of the month, will be given to community organizations in need after it wraps up at the end of the month, Oct. 31. The 1,000 Acts of Kindness Challenge is a social movement that encourages people to end hate by spreading kindness — one generous act at a time. In the case of Pillar, the question is, can you spare a square? Donations are being accepted at the Pillar Nonprofit Network office (251 Dundas St.) on the second floor inside the Central Library. Donations are of packages only, no single rolls. Pillar Nonprofit Network is a voice for the nonprofit sector and supports nonprofit organizations in fulfilling their missions in our community.  The network provides leadership, advocacy and support to the nonprofit sector through the promotion of volunteerism, professional development and networking opportunities, and information sharing. Pillar Nonprofit Network has over 295 member nonprofit organizations and individuals. The members cover the wide spectrum of services provided by the sector.
