On Saturday (Oct. 20), at approximately 6 p.m., London police responded to a residence on Westminister Drive for a collision involving an all-terrain vehicle.
A 22-year-old London man, operating an off road vehicle on a private driveway, lost control and flipped his ATV, causing it to roll on top of him. The male was transported to hospital with multiple lacerations and fractures, and is currently in fair condition. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
Police have charged the male with failing to wear a proper helmet, contrary to section 19(1) of the Off-Road Vehicle Act.
