Police seek witness to motorcycle accident on Thursday morning (update)

Update (Oct. 28, 10:45 a.m.): London police would like to talk to the witness who was first on the scene and assisted the driver involved in the collision. The person is asked to call police at 519-661-5670. ---------------- A motorcycle driver suffered serious injuries after colliding with a shopping cart in the Southdale and Bostwick roads area. On Thursday (Oct. 25) at approximately 1:30 a.m., according to London police, the motorcyclist was driving westbound on Southdale Road when he struck the cart, which was in the middle of the road. A 33-year-old man was transported to Victoria Hospital suffering serious injuries. The London Police Service is requesting assistance from the public with information regarding this collision, specifically if anyone was seen in the area with a shopping cart at the time of the collision. Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
