London woman charged with impaired driving

On Dec. 13 at 3:29 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call from the public of a possible impaired driver on Hwy 401 at Putnam Road Thames Centre.
Police stopped the suspect vehicle at which time officers soon discovered that the driver had allegedly been drinking. A roadside-screening test was administered and the driver registered a “Fail.” The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the local police station for further tests.
As a result of an investigation, Kristen Hatherall, 26, of London has been charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol. This charge has not been proven in a court of law.
