Man charged with impaired driving after crossing into oncoming traffic

A Thames Centre man is facing an impaired driving charge after getting pulled over in London.
According to police at around 9:39 a.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 8), a Middlesex County OPP officer observed a northbound Volkswagen cross into oncoming traffic on Veteran’s Memorial Parkway at Huron Street.
Police pulled the driver over and he was arrested for impaired driving before being transported to the London OPP detachment for further breath tests.
As a result of an investigation, William Weaver, 50, has been charged with Impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operate a motor vehicle with Over 80mg. Neither of these charges has been proven in a court of law.
