Two London residents have been busted for cocaine possession after members of the London Police Guns and Drugs Section executed a search warrant on Tuesday (Jan. 29).
A kilogram of cocaine valued at approximately $100,000, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized as a result of the search at an address on Capulet Lane.
Habtamu Tessema, 43, and Kathrine Smith, 43, both of London, have been arrested and charged with the following offences:
• Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
• Possession of a schedule II substance.
None of these charges have yet been proven in a court of law.
