Don’t waste your breath about councillor Codes of Conduct (letter)

London Community News

Dear editor, Re: Letter by Megan Walker, published Oct. 11 Just because the boys and girls in city council chambers do not play well together in their sandbox, we do not need political rhetoric about codes of conduct. City hall told us taxpayers that we need to behave ourselves when listening in the gallery, but said nothing about how our elected officials need to act during their meetings. Why are you so concerned about this? It’s out of your control. You are no longer an elected official. There is code of conduct. But we are talking City of London. Don’t waste your breath or newspaper space, on things that will not change. The previous administration (remember DiCicco?) indicated the same thing. Perhaps it’s a side effect of the fluoride in our water that affects London residents’ brains from firing properly. At least your letter took up space where otherwise, there may be ads.
