The day started with two Under-13 Peewee games from a local Mustangs’ squad with London defeating Six Nations 9-6 in the morning. In the early afternoon, the home team would go on to crush Milton #1 8-4 in a dominating performance. Later in the day, a local Under-11 Novice team hit the field with the Mustangs continuing the winning ways by beating Oakville #3 in a tough 5-3 game, before finishing the day against Guelph #2 in an 11-6 win. The 25 games played by the southwestern youth lacrosse teams wraps up the Novice and Peewee Ontario Minor Field Lacrosse League season before moving onto the provincial championships starting May 18 in Brampton.
