London Knights goaltender Michael Houser has signed an entry-level contract with the National Hockey league’s Florida Panthers.
The undrafted netminder attended the Panthers’ summer camp earlier this month and was expected to take part in the Winnipeg Jets’ development camp this week.
Houser, 19, picked up the Canadian Hockey League Goaltender of the Year and Ontario Hockey League's Most Outstanding Player.
The Wexford, Pa. native played 62 games for the Knights in the 2011-12 season backstopping the club to 46 wins to tie the OHL single season record for most wins.
