Los Angeles Kings defenceman Drew Doughty and forward Jeff Carter will be holding a home town celebration after winning the Stanley Cup and will be giving hockey’s greatest trophy a tour of the central part of the city. The celebration kicks off at 11:30 a.m. inside city hall’s council chambers and then moves on to a parade at noon. The parade starts from city hall and heads down Wellington Road North, then turns onto Dundas Street before getting off on Talbot Street and stopping at the John Labatt Centre (JLC). From 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., a public showing of the Stanley Cup with Doughty and Carter will be held at Club Cambria inside the JLC. Find us on Facebook: London Community News
