Mustang Women go undefeated in opening weekend action

After posting a 5-0 record in preseason play at the Toronto Earlybird tournament, the Mustangs opened the Ontario University Athletics regular season in fine style this past weekend (Sept. 15-16). Playing host on the Huron Flats pitch, Western kicked things off on Saturday morning with an 11-6 win over McMaster. Later that afternoon, the ladies continued their winning ways, posting a decisive 14-3 decision over the Queens University Golden Gaels. Capping off the weekend Sunday morning, the Mustangs completely dominated Brock University, shutting out the Badgers 16-0. The Mustangs will be looking to improve their record to 4-0 when the team travels to Guelph for a date with the Gryphons on Sept. 29. Find us on Facebook: London Community News [gallery columns="4"]
