St. Georges vanquish Pagans 19-10 (photo gallery)

Playing host to the Peterborough Pagans, London were looking for a strong finish heading into the pending playoffs, controlling much of the action throughout the game. A Pagan resurgence in the second half managed to put points on the board for Peterborough and kept St. Georges from resting on their laurels. But when all was said and done after the referee’s whistle sounded to end the game, it was London coming away with the 19-10 win. St. Georges finishes the regular season with a 9-4 record, placing them third in the Marshall Provincial Division 1^st Team standings with 47 points. London will kick off their playoff campaign against the Toronto Scottish this Saturday (Sept. 29) on home turf at the London St. Georges Rugby Football Club, located at 4308 Dundas St East starting at 2:30 p.m. Find us on Facebook: London Community News [gallery]
