There are many traditions associated with Thanksgiving and for the local running community, one of those is the annual Turkey Trot cross-country run.
Hosted by the London Pacers Running Club, more than 300 runners took to either the 2-km or 6-km cross country courses weaving through Springbank Park on Monday morning (Oct. 8).
In the 2-km event, it was 13-year old Caelan Holden crossing the line first in a time of 6:59.
London’s Tristan Fleming was first back to the finish line in the six-kilometre race, covering the distance in 20 minutes and 53 seconds.
