Red Circle Hockey Tournament

London Community News

Around 30 hockey teams took over the ice pads at the Western Fair Sports Centre to compete for one of the crowns at the Red Circle Tournament running from Friday to Sunday (Dec. 14 to 16).

Teams ranging from Novice to PeeWee divisions (eight to 15 year olds) battled it out with clubs from London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Barrie and Burlington taking part.

The winning teams get bragging rights before the squads meet again in Burlington in February for the second of three tournaments between the clubs. The final championship will be held in Barrie in April.
