Princess Avenue took on a carnival-like atmosphere Saturday afternoon (July 21) as roughly 2,000 people celebrated the Old East Village Block Party.
Now in its second year, the party is meant to allow the village’s residents, along with their neighbours from across the city, to show off the vibrancy of their community through arts, culture, food and music.
Dozens of community businesses and organizations sponsored the event while a brigade of volunteers helped everyone who attended have a good time.
