Rain may have been the reason for leaving their bikes at home in the garage but it didn’t keep hundreds of Harley riders and fans of the legendary ride, from stopping into Rocky’s Harley Davidson on Saturday (Aug. 11) for the annual Pork Dover Fest.
This was the second year for the event held at the local motorcycle dealership.
Activities included a sidewalk sale, three live bands on stage — After the Lounge, Bonfire and Big Bang — a cheerleader bike wash, pork roast and a licensed beer tent.
Proceeds from all beer and food sales at the event, which amounted to approximately $3,000 in 2011, are to be donated to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
