It was the perfect day for a barbecue and bouncy castles in London’s Southeast Optimist Park as friends and neighbours came together to celebrate the second annual South East Summer Fest on Saturday (Aug. 25).
Organized by the City of London and the Glen Cairn Community Resource Centre with the help of a number of community members, South East Summer Fest welcomed hundreds out to the park for this free, multi-cultural event.
In addition to bouncy castles, face-painting, animal balloons and more for the kids, there was also a steady stream of entertainment on stage as well as free hot dogs, corn on the cob, candy floss and sno-cones for those that cared for a bite to eat.
