Walking for ovarian cancer hope

Photos by Mike Maloney/London Community News/Twitter: mdmaloneyphoto The trails were full on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 9) as more than 200 walkers took to the paths of Greenway Park, participating in the annual Ovarian Cancer Canada — Walk of Hope. This was the fifth year the walk has been held here in London, raising money solely for ovarian cancer research, awareness and support programs. In 2011, the walk raised more than $10,000 locally. With a greater number of participants entered in the walk this year, organizers have raised that bar, setting a goal of $15,000. Find us on Facebook: London Community News
