Mini golf tradition continues

Photos by Mike Maloney/London Community News/Twitter: mdmaloneyphoto The Fanshawe Optimist Club welcomed young golfers from across the city to its annual Mini Golf Tour Tournament on Saturday (Sept. 15). Now into its 34 year, the event is hosted by the club, not as a way to raise money, but just as a fun activity for the kids to participate in. Held at Tin Cup Golf on Adelaide Street, the tournament was open to young golfers from ages one to 15. And while the numbers of participants may have been down from years past, there was still just as much enthusiasm from the close to 40 young golfers that came out to take part in the event.
