Wild west returns to London at Hospice Harvest Hoedown on Saturday
London Community News
London residents are being asked to rustle up a posse and ride on over to the second annual Hospice Harvest Hoedown.
Taking place this Saturday (Sept. 29) at the estate of local philanthropist Steve Plunkett (9282 Elviage Dr.), this is the second year for the hoedown. Proceeds from the event go to support Hospice of London and its programs for terminally ill and bereaved men, women and children within the community.
Located at the Fleetwood Farms on the Plunkett Estate, the hoedown — which runs from 4-11 p.m. — includes live entertainment by award-winning country artists Sarah and Jeff. Participants will also be able to take in Tom Bishop’s Wild West Show, learn to line dance, enjoy a country-style barbecue, bid on live auction items and stroll through the Chuck Wagon Marketplace.
Tickets are $50 a piece or a table of 10 for $500. For more information, visit www.hospiceoflondon.com or contact Nikki Bertoia, at Hospice of London, by phone at 519-438-2102 ext 229.
