Homecoming parade (photos)

Photos by Mike Maloney/London Community News/Twitter: mdmaloneyphoto Homecoming activities have been happening across London these past few days and those festivities kicked into high gear with the traditional Western University Homecoming Parade on Saturday (Sept. 29). Unlike previous years where the parade would make its way from downtown, up along Richmond Street to the university, this year organizers of the event opted to keep the parade route confined to the university grounds themselves. And while the new route and timing of the actual parade caused some confusion, hundreds of students decked out in Mustangs purple still joined the procession across campus to the delight of spectators who took up position at various locations along the parade’s route.
