Some of the city’s most private and public spaces were on display for all to see this past weekend during the 11th annual Doors Open London.
Organized by the London Heritage Council, the event gave people a chance to look at some of London’s landmark spaces in a way they wouldn’t normally have a chance to see.
The theme of this year’s Doors Open was Defending a Nation. Commemorating the bicentennial of the War of 1812, a number of military themed organizations including the Wolseley Barracks on Oxford Street, 1st Hussars Museum and Air Force Association of Canada 427 (London) Wing, figured prominently among the list of over 40 sites welcoming guests.
