Regional HIV/AIDS Connection (RHAC) presents the fifth annual Rocky Horror Picture Show Experience, an infamous cult movie that fuses comedy, horror and music into one outrageous show. All proceeds from the sale of tickets support RHAC’s free services and programs offered to those living with, affected by and at risk for HIV/AIDS. This successful event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 cult film adapted from a British rock musical. A stranded newlywed couple takes refuge at the castle of Dr. Frank N Furter, the sweet transvestite from Transexual Transylvania. Enticed to stay and partake in the Annual Transylvanian Convention, the evening turns into a bizarre, outrageous and hilarious night of fantasy and fun. The Rocky Horror Picture Show Experience is an interactive movie screening that takes place at Rainbow Cinemas, in Citi Plaza (355 Wellington St.). Attendees are encouraged to dress up for the chance to win prizes ($2 entry fee) or have souvenir photos taken of them to commemorate the film ($5 fee).
