John F. Lemieux Memorial Walk/Run raises $6,000 for Epilepsy Support Centre

Lemieux Memorial Walk/Run in support of the Epilepsy Support Centre. While a small number of participants chose to challenge themselves over the 5-km course, the bulk of those on hand for the event decided to enjoy the morning at a more leisurely pace, opting instead for the 2.5-km walk. In 2011, the event raised approximately $6,000 and with more participants taking part this this time around, organizers were confident that they would exceed that total year.
