It was an occasion to celebrate women, family health and wellness on Sunday (Nov. 19) at the Highland Country Club for the fourth annual What A Girl Wants luncheon.
Held in support of the Canadian Liver Foundation, a total of approximately 150 guests were on hand for this unique fundraiser.
The theme for this year was Through the Looking Glass and the event featured live entertainment, a designer handbag auction and fashion show, silent action, signature diamond cocktails and more, all set against the backdrop of a deluxe four-course luncheon.
One of the highlights of the afternoon was a draw for a Mikimoto pearl necklace, valued at $2,500.
All proceeds raised from the event go towards liver disease research and education.
